"I know who i am; Do you?"
The Annual Fred Kasozi Student camp took place at Kiwoko Secondary School with the Theme; "I know who i am, Do you?" 250 people including school board members, contact teachers, local leaders and CGC Staff attended the camp. The camp was officiated by Honourable Rose Namayaja, a Woman Member of Parliament - Nakaseke District. During the camp students were equipped with life skills. This year's camp focussed on instilling a sense of understanding of individual abilities, strengths, fears and weaknesses. This would in turn help them to maximize their strengths and work on their weaknesses, thus making wise and informed decisions based on that knowledge.
Children were encouraged to share openly and 2 inspirational speakers, Honourable Ruth Nvumetta Kavuma and Honourable Rebecca Lukwago with similar backgrounds but have managed to weather through the circumstances and have succeeded, gave an account of their life-stories.
Cluster coaching sesions where girls were grouped in smaller clusters were conducted. The girls were guided to draw their respective social relationship maps. They were also able to draw individual mission statements, visions and goals based on their identified self - values and traits.
